New physical development class introduced at Hartlepool Clever Clogs
Posted: (l dS F)Physical growth, agility and communication are in abundance at Hartlepool’s Clever Clogs Nursery due to introduction of a new weekly physical development programme.
Held every Wednesday at 10.30am during term time at the site on Throston Grange Lane, the popular Leaps and Bounds classes have been developed by Tumble Tots UK, specifically for children of pre-school age to enhance movement, develop speech, improve listening skills and boost confidence.
Having successfully held Leaps and Bounds classes for five years at its flagship nursery in Belmont (North Durham), Clever Clogs Nurseries has introduced the classes at the company’s recently acquired sites in Hartlepool and Bowburn (South Durham). The new classes offer families the opportunity to enjoy additional extra curriculum activities at the newly renovated nurseries.
The 30 minute sessions run weekly at Clever Clogs Hartlepool, with parents welcome to book block sessions to ensure progressive development for their children. Interested parties are encouraged to reserve space ahead of the class to allow the instructor to prepare for numbers.
Andrea Townsley owner of Clever Clogs Nurseries said: “Physical activity is just as important as motor development in terms of a child’s learning and growth. Leaps and Bounds sessions not only help children develop physically – by improving balance, co-ordination and agility but it also aids educational development by challenging children to think for themselves, concentrate and listen to instructions. The sessions are incredibly fun for kids who love interacting with the instructors, the other children, our team members, and parents or guardians.”
